Baksels
You won’t be able to have “just a tiny slice” at Baksels, who brews an assortment of homemade cakes, brownies and cupcakes every day at its location in Amsterdam West. Grab a slice of your favourite cake and take a seat inside (or take it home!) to savour the flavour of these delectable cakes, all done with the owner's love.

Stop by Winkel43 in the Jordaan neighbourhood for a taste of their most famous treat: apple pie, just like grandma made. Known all over town as having the best apple pie in Amsterdam, Winkel43 is the place to go when you need to feel like a man– but be ready to make yourself a bit comfortable with a few strangers at the table, as is usually busy.

De Bakkerswinkel
Take a trip to Westerpark for a lovely high tea with the ladies – complete with a slice of cake – at De Bakkerswinkel’s most beautiful location. With three other bakeries in Amsterdam, this cake shop and lunchroom is known throughout the city for its scrumptious cakes (walnut and caramel, for one) and sweet and savoury scones.
